Company - One of the largest telecommunications firms in the world, Verizon was formed through the merger of GTE, Nynex, and Bell Atlantic.

Project - The project that founded Strafford, we built one of the first comprehensive data warehouse environments for then Nynex.  This application culled data from over 25 source systems to provide reporting in Verizon's landline maintenance area.  As the application grew, it provided workflow around corrective/preventative maintenance, analytics for return on investment, and significant storage capability to track over 25,000 pieces of field equipment.  Strafford supported Verizon for over ten years through 2 major generations of this application.
