$6b Manufacturing Firm - This firm is a worldwide manufacturer of electrical products.  The firm had traditionally used Hyperion Enterprise for consolidation and reporting.  The use of the application had grown to 8 unique instances.  Over a period of time the company implemented SAP across the organization, but due to limitations of SAP still needed Enterprise to consolidation, close and report.

Hyperion & Strafford consulting are the answer - When the client decided to upgrade Enterprise to HFM they did what most firms this size do - they got quotes from Oracle/Hyperion and two large system integrators.  Of course, the $1m Phase 1 pricetag had them calling Strafford -- Our initial quote of $300k delivered MORE functionality than the other firms.  The resulting implementation is through two phases now and live -- all for a fraction of the total estimated costs of working the traditional way.
