Financial Systems Implementation

Entertainment – this organization engaged Strafford to implement a corporate-wide budgeting tool. With deadlines for budgeting fast approaching, Strafford quickly worked the project planning and design process to help ensure success under very tight timeframes. With direct project responsibility, we installed the software, integrated it into the existing systems and provided training to the users to enable them to meet their deadlines. The organization subsequently embarked on their most successful budgeting process to date.

Manufacturing – this client engaged Strafford to implement a new financial system for consolidation. Data extracts from 10 distinct transactional systems were automated monthly to support detailed financial reporting and analysis.

Retail – this client engaged Strafford to build out their financial consolidation application. This was centered on financial consolidation from two distinct ledgers. We were able to integrate their existing Excel reporting approach at the same time we built out a system with integration back to their source ledger systems. The approach also incorporated process for budgeting & forecasting.

Student Lending - Strafford was engaged to implement a corporate-wide budgeting process. We assisted this fast growing financial services leader with a budgeting process that included significant workforce planning and capital budgeting. Due to known limitations of the selected package, the client asked us to complete some customization which we completed and tested through to production.

Utility – this client engaged Strafford specifically for temporary administrative work upon key employee turnover. We were able to provide transition support as well as consolidation/close assistance during the time they were without an administrator. Although Strafford does not actively seek work in this area, our teams do have the extensive finance and systems knowledge necessary to support engagements for prospective clients with urgent need.
